Commentary


En Tunisie, les pièces de 100 francs or ont été frappées jusqu’en 1956. Mais en fait seuls les millésimes 1930, 1932 et 1935 ont été fabriqués en petite quantité (3 000 et 3 100 pièces). De tous les autres millésimes, il n’a été frappé que de 33 à 63 exemplaires.

(1881-1956)

The French protectorate of Tunisia was established by the Treaty of Bardo of May 12, 1881. The political, economic and social structures of the country were transformed and the monetary system was modeled on that of France with the adoption of identical modules. The protectorate was finally abolished on March 20, 1956 after negotiations constituting the culmination of the Tunisian national movement..
