Coments on the condition:
Sortant de frappe, de légères traces de manipulation, une jolie lumière mais, très curieusement, l’exemplaire n’est pas plat mais légèrement bombé. Comme il ne présente aucune marque de choc ou de pression, nous n’avons aucune explication : les coins n’auraient-il pas résisté et se seraient-ils foulés du fait d’un métal trop dur ? Il faudrait étudier les autres exemplaires pour voir si le même bombé du flan se remarque

Nous ignorons comment distinguer le bronze-nickel du cupro-nickel et n’avons pas d’indication de poids dans le Lecompte ni ailleurs pour l’essai en bronze-nickel. En revanche, si nous suivons la description du Lecompte II, nous devons considérer que seule l’épreuve en cupro-nickel ne porte pas le mot ESSAI. Notre exemplaire ne portant pas non plus le mot essai et pesant 5,83 g, nous en concluons qu’il s’agit d’une variante de poids de l’épreuve en cupro-nickel.

THIRD REPUBLIC - TUNISIA - FRENCH PROTECTORATE
After the First World War, the Destour was created in 1920 and revived the nationalist movement. The crisis of the 1930s and the political changes that occurred in France and in Europe favored the birth of new organizations of all kinds. Habib Bourguiba then took advantage of this dynamic to leave the party with a few comrades and found, on March 2, 1934, the Neo-Destour. The French authorities tried to contain any attempt to overthrow the established order by arresting the leaders of the Neo-Destour. Bourguiba was thus arrested in 1938. Tunisia followed the destiny of France. She takes racial laws from July 1940.
