Jean-Baptiste Emile Dropsy (1848-1923) est un graveur. Il entama son apprentissage de graveur sur métaux à Paris quai de Jemmapes auprès de la société Lemoine. Ce porte-Louis décoré et gravé par Jean Baptiste Emile Dropsy permettait de ranger facilement plusieurs napoléons de 10 francs OR et de 20 francs OR à l’aide d’un système à ressorts. L’exemplaire est doré l’intérieur.
