Henri Alfred Auguste Dubois est un médailleur et sculpteur français né à Rome en 1859, mort en 1943, fils d’Alphée Dubois (1831 - 1905) artiste peintre, dessinateur de timbres et graveur médailleur. Élève de son père, puis de Henri Chapu (1833 - 1891) et d'Alexandre Falguière (1831 - 1900). Second grand Prix de Rome de gravure en médailles et pierres fines en 1878. Sociétaire de la Société des artistes français en 1883. Médaille de troisième classe en 1888. Médaille d'argent à l'Exposition universelle de 1900..

He was a pupil of his father, then of Henri Chapu (1833 - 1891) and Alexandre Falguière (1831 - 1900). He won the Second Grand Prix de Rome for medal and gemstone engraving in 1878. He was a member of the Society of French Artists in 1883. He was awarded a third-class medal in 1888. He was also awarded a silver medal at the 1900 World's Fair.
