Commentary
L'exposition ouvra ses portes de novembre 1902 à janvier 1903. Voulue par Paul Doumer, elle devait glorifiée sa politique des grands travaux et de modernisation de l'Indochine suivie pendant 4 années. Son concepteur ayant rejoint la France, l'exposition n'eut pas la gloire escomptée....
The exhibition opened its doors from November 1902 to January 1903. Initiated by Paul Doumer, it was intended to glorify his policy of major public works and the modernization of Indochina, which he pursued for four years. Since its creator had left for France, the exhibition did not achieve the expected success.
