Bronze d’un type exceptionnel sur un flan large avec un droit complet et bien centré mais un revers un peu décentré. Épaisse patine verte, un peu granuleuse mais bien stable

Reverse description : Cheval à droite, la crinière bouletée ; un annelet derrière la tête et une esse devant ; une croisette bouletée entre les jambes ; légende au-dessus du dos.

Commentary

Les exemplaires de ce type qui illustrent le Nouvel Atlas sont repris du Traité de S. Scheers, en ayant été colorisés. Cet exemplaire est d'une qualité et d'un centrage exceptionnel ; sans doute l'un des plus beaux exemplaires connus.
Ce n’est que le second que nous proposons de ce style, avec le bga_239304 (exemplaire provenant de MONNAIES 26).
