ITALY - TRANSPADANE AREA - CELTO-LIGURIANS

(3rd - 2nd century BC)

The Celto-Ligurians, with coins in the Lepontic alphabet, settled in the 6th or 5th century BC in Transpadane, which would later become Cisalpine Gaul. From the end of the 4th century BC, they were in contact with Rome.
