Reverse description : Athéna casquée, vêtue militairement debout de face, la tête tournée à gauche, tenant une patère de la main droite, un bouclier et une haste de la main gauche.

Wife of Gordian III - Augusta

Gordian III married the daughter of the prefect of the Praetorian Timésithée, Tranquillina, in 241. The following year, she accompanied the emperor to the East. After the death of his father, replaced by Philip the Arab, we lose track of him. Gordian was assassinated in 244 at the instigation of the new prefect of the Praetorium.
