Exemplaire sur un petit flan ovale bien centré au droit, un peu court au revers. Belle tête au droit. Usure plus prononcée au revers. Patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés

Commentary


Pour ce type, M. Crawford a relevé une estimation de 450 coins de droit et de 562 coins de revers. Au revers, sur notre exemplaire, nous avons un O, placé au-dessus du taureau. À chaque lettre de l’alphabet pointée ou pas, plusieurs coins peuvent être associés. C’est l’un des deniers républicains les plus courants du monnayage avec une production dépassant certainement le million de deniers frappés.
