Bel exemplaire frappé sur un flan large et centré. Beau buste finement détaillé au droit, quelques faiblesses. Très joli revers presque SUP. Patine de collection

Obverse description : Buste diadémé, casqué et cuirassé de Théodose II de face, tenant de la main droite la haste qui repose sur l'épaule et de la gauche, un bouclier orné d'un cavalier chargeant à droite (N’a) ; diadème perlé.
Obverse translation : “Dominus Noster Theodosius Pius Felix Augustus”, (Notre seigneur Théodose pieux heureux auguste).

Reverse description : Victoria (la Victoire) debout de face tournée à gauche, tenant une longue croix de la main droite ; dans le champ à gauche, une étoile à huit rais.

Commentary
Rubans de type 3 aux extrémités bouletées. Cuirasse cloutée. Épaulière décorée. Bouclier orné d’un cavalier terrassant un guerrier.
