Exemplaire sur un flan bien centré. Beau portrait de Théodose II. Très joli revers inhabituel avec une petite faiblesse de frappe sur la tête de l’empereur. Jolie patine de collection ancienne

Obverse description : Buste casqué, diadémé, et cuirassé d’Arcadius de face vu de trois quarts de face à droite, tenant une lance sur l’épaule et un bouclier orné d’un cavalier, terrassant un guerrier (N’a).
Obverse translation : “Dominus Noster Theodosius Pius Felix Augustus”, (Notre seigneur Théodose pieux heureux auguste).

Reverse


Reverse legend : GLOR ORVI-S TERRAR *|-// TESOB.
Reverse description : L'empereur debout de face couronné et vêtu militairement, tenant de la main droite un étendard et de la gauche un globe crucigère.
Reverse translation : “Gloria Orbis Terrarum”, (Gloire sur la Terre entière).
