Commentary


Exemplaire issu du médaillier Franklin qui met à l’honneur la sculpture le Baiser d’Auguste Rodin : Ce marbre fut commandé par l’état français pour l’exposition universelle de Paris en 1889. Il est, à l’origine, un des motifs dans l’oeuvre de sa vie: la Porte de l’Enfer et est exposé au musée Rodin à Paris.

Théoriquement, le poinçon crabe est censé indiquer un titrage à 800 millièmes.
