Reverse legend : S-ALVS - AV-GG.
Reverse description : Salus (la Santé) drapée, debout à gauche, tenant un gouvernail de la main gauche et une patère de la main droite, nourrissant un serpent enroulé autour d'un autel.
Reverse translation : “Salus Augustorum”, (La Santé des Augustes).

I Tetricus


Tetricus I had been governor of Aquitaine before accession. After three years of reign, he was finally defeated by Aurelian near Chalons-sur-Marne in 274. Presented in the triumph of the latter, in Rome, he was pardoned by the new emperor, who ushered in the Senate and appointed him governor of Lucania.
