Henri II de Longueville was born on April 6, 1595 from the union of Henri I of Orléans-Longueville and Catherine de Gonzague. He did not know his father who died in Amiens only two days after his birth. The King of France Henri IV was his godfather. He died in Normandy on May 11, 1663, leaving from his first marriage a daughter, Marie, and from his second marriage with Anne-Geneviève de Bourbon, sister of the great Condé, he had two sons, Jean-Louis Charles and Charles-Paris.
