Appelés parfois thalers de tir, ces “monnaies” sont en réalité des médailles au module des écus de 5 francs avec les mêmes titre et le poids. La série comprend quinze pièces : Solothurn 1855, Berne 1857, Zurich 1859, Stans 1861, La-Chaux-de-Fonds 1863, Schaffhausen 1865, Schwyz 1867, Zug 1869, Zurich 1872, St-Gallen 1874, Lausanne 1876, Bâle 1879, Fribourg 1881, Lugano 1883 et Berne 1885.
Sometimes called shooting thalers, these “coins” are in reality medals in the size of 5 franc ecus with the same fineness and weight.
