Commentary

Monnaie très rare avec les légendes erronées, les E étant remplacés par des F.

Le sol vaut 12 deniers de Genève. D'après Demole, ces sols de Genève sans millésime, mais avec comme différent une étoile en début de légende du revers, auraient été frappés à partir de 1548 et jusqu'au mois de mai 1550.
A very rare coin with erroneous legends, the E's being replaced by F's. The sol is worth 12 Geneva deniers. According to Demole, these Geneva sols without a date, but with a star as a mint mark at the beginning of the reverse legend, were minted from 1548 until May 1550.
