Coments on the condition:
Patine grise hétérogène avec des traces d’usure. Présence de quelques coups, rayures et tâches d’oxydation sur la tranche. La médaille semble d’ailleurs avoir été testé sur la tranche à deux endroits (à 4 et 10 heures)

SWITZERLAND - REPUBLIC OF GENEVA

Gegenna became Geneva on December 4, 1535. On November 24, 1535, the Council of Two Hundred decided to have coins minted in the name of the Republic of Geneva; the first sols de billon were minted in 1536. The Republic of Geneva was proclaimed on May 21, 1536 and the reformed religion became the state religion. Education becomes compulsory and free.
