Daniel Jeanrichard, dit Bressel (La Sagne, 1665 - Le Locle, 20 avril 1741) est un horloger suisse considéré comme le fondateur de l'industrie horlogère dans le Jura. Daniel Jeanrichard, known as Bressel (La Sagne, 1665 - Le Locle, April 20, 1741) is a Swiss watchmaker considered the founder of the watchmaking industry in the Jura. While his historical existence is beyond doubt, the question of his importance and his exact role remains unresolved. A tutelary figure of the Neuchâtel watchmaking industry, Daniel Jeanrichard was quickly mythologized.
