Le Schilling 1810 du Canton de Glaris fait partie des pièces suisses les plus rares du XIXe siècle et manque dans toutes les collections privés ! Un exemplaire a été vendu par Sincona en 2022, les deux autres exemplaires connus sont détenus respectivement par le Musée National Suisse et la Société historique de Glaris. Monnaie de la plus grande rareté !.

Historical background


This canton is located in the east of Switzerland. It obtained its independence around 1390 but was occupied from 1798 to 1803 by the French. He joined the Swiss Confederation in 1803.
