Ce type fut fabriqué entre 1850 et 1863. Les pièces avec les millésimes 1860, 1862 et 1863 ont un titre d'argent de 800 millièmes contre 900 millièmes auparavant. La Suisse intègre ensuite l'Union Latine et ses pièces de 2, 1 et 1/2 Francs auront désormais un titre de 835 millièmes..
This type was produced between 1850 and 1863. Coins with the dates 1860, 1862 and 1863 have a silver fineness of 800 thousandths compared to 900 thousandths previously. Switzerland then joined the Latin Union and its 2, 1 and 1/2 Franc coins will now have a fineness of 835 thousandths.
