Commentary
Adolphe Frédéric de Suède naquit à Gottorp le 14 mai 1710. Prince-évêque de Lübeck, de 1727 à 1750, il fut couronné roi de Suède en 1751. Pendant les vingt années de son règne, le pouvoir fut assuré par le Parlement de Finlande et de Suède. Il décéda à Stockholm le 12 février 1771.
Adolf Frederick of Sweden was born in Gottorp on 14 May 1710. He was Prince-Bishop of Lübeck from 1727 to 1750 and was crowned King of Sweden in 1751. During the twenty years of his reign, power was exercised by the Parliament of Finland and Sweden. He died in Stockholm on 12 February 1771.
