Historical background

SPAIN - SEDETANA - SETEISKEN (Provincia de Zaragoza - Sastago)

(2nd - 1st century BC)

Seteisken is hardly attributable today. The name itself is addressed rather to the people of the Sedetanos. Sometimes identified as Sastago, it is located in the province of Zaragoza on the course of the Ebro in Aragon, before the river enters Catalonia. This workshop would be the oldest in the region and would correspond to the arrival of the Romans in the region following the influence of Kese.
