Le protectorat d’Aden est un protectorat britannique situé dans le sud de l’Arabie (actuellement le sud du Yemen). En 1959, cet ensemble devint la Fédération des émirats arabes du Sud, puis en 1962 la Fédération d’Arabie du Sud.

(1962-1967)
The Federation of South Arabia was formed on April 4, 1962 from the Federation of Southern Arab Emirates which comprises 15 sultanates and sheikhdoms. The federation was joined by the State of Aden in 1963 and then by other states. After the withdrawal of British troops, the protectorate is replaced by the People's Republic of South Yemen.
