Commentary


L’abbé Jean-François Rozier est né à Lyon en 1734. Professeur à l’école vétérinaire, il obtint ensuite le prieuré de Nanteuil-le-Haudouin et revint à Lyon en 1788. Il laisse différents traités de botanique et d’agriculture.
Abbot Jean-François Rozier was born in Lyon in 1734. A professor at the veterinary school, he then obtained the priory of Nanteuil-le-Haudouin and returned to Lyon in 1788. He left behind various treatises on botany and agriculture.
