À l’avers est représenté le poète France Prešeren (1800-1849) et la première ligne de la 7ème strophe de la Zdravljica (toast) (hymne national slovène), extrait d’un de ses poèmes.
Au revers, la nouvelle face commune avec la carte de l’Union Européenne à 27 (et non plus 15 menbres comme le 1er type).
The obverse depicts the poet France Prešeren (1800-1849) and the first line of the 7th verse of the Zdravljica (toast) (Slovene national anthem), taken from one of his poems. The reverse features the new common side with the map of the 27-member European Union (and no longer 15 members like the first type).
