Commentary
Lightweight. Type 3 ribbons. Breastplate formed of scales viewed from three-quarters behind. The paludamentum panel is visible on each side of the shoulder, which is unusual. The eighth imperial acclamation is dated to the summer of 196 after the fall of Byzantium. This is the first time we have offered this type for sale!
