Exemplaire sur un petit flan ovale et épais, court sur la légende au droit. Belle tête de Septime Sévère. Revers bien venu à la frappe. Très belle patine vert foncé

Rubans de type 3. Pour ce type Z. Sawaha a recensé 38 exemplaires avec huit coins de droit et onze coins de revers. Avec notre notre coin de droit nous avons cinq exemplaires et notre combinaison n’est connue que par un exemplaire.

SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS

Septimius Severus was born in 146 in Leptis Magna in Africa (Libya). After a brilliant military career under the reigns of Marc Aurèle and Commodus, he was consul suffect in 185. At the time of Pertinax's death, he was governor of Upper Pannonia.
