Beau potin avec une tête très bien venue à la coulée au droit. Revers plus usé. Patine marron

Obverse description : Tête “d’indien” stylisée à gauche, la chevelure ramenée en arrière par trois grosses mèches renflées à leur extrémité.

Commentary
Ce potin semble excessivement rare et n’a pas été repris par la plupart des ouvrages de référence. Nous n’en connaissons que trois autres ; l’un avec un défaut de coulée dans une collection privée, un au musée Puig de Perpignan (n° 416) et le n° 1303 de MONNAIE 36. C’est sans doute le cheval au pas qui a fait rapprocher ce potin des monnaies sénones LT. 7434 et 7437. Le type de droit est pourtant nettement différent !.
