Henri Moissan (1852-1907) est un pharmacien-chimiste français, spécialiste des corps à hautes températures. Il est principalement connu pour avoir isolé le premier le fluor. Ses travaux eurent beaucoup d'applications dans l'industrie. Il reçut le prix Nobel de chimie de 1906.
