Antoine César Becquerel (1788-1878) est un physicien français, promotion 1806 de l’école polytechnique, officier du génie dans les campagnes d’Espagne et de France. Commandeur de la Légion d'honneur, son nom fait partie de la liste des soixante-douze noms de savants inscrits sur la Tour Eiffel.
Antoine César Becquerel (1788-1878) was a French physicist, graduated from the École Polytechnique in 1806 and served as an engineering officer in the campaigns of Spain and France. A Commander of the Legion of Honor, his name is one of the seventy-two names of scientists inscribed on the Eiffel Tower.
