Ce rare type de billon, considéré comme un type original proche du BN. 3844, est attribué dans le Nouvel Atlas dans les monnaies de la périphérie arverne, à l'attribution incertaine.
Les rares lieux de trouvaille signalés se situeraient à l’ouest du Massif Central. Il existerait des monnaies d’argent (DT. 3610) et d’autres en bronze (DT. 3610A).
