Reverse description : Vesta voilée et drapée, assise à gauche sur un siège à dossier, tenant le palladium de la main droite et un sceptre transversal de la main gauche.

Salonine, the wife of Gallien, seems to receive the title of augusta in 253, when her husband is associated with power by Valerian I. She loses at least two of her children, young Valérien and Salonin. She is murdered at the same time as her husband. Salonina is said to have had Christian sympathies.
