Exemplaire sur un flan large et ovale bien centré avec les grènetis visibles. Beau portrait de Salonine. Frappe un peu molle au revers. Jolie patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés

Wife of Gallienus, mother of Valerian II and Saloninus - Augusta
Salonine, the wife of Gallien, seems to receive the title of augusta in 253, when her husband is associated with power by Valerian I. She loses at least two of her children, young Valérien and Salonin. She is murdered at the same time as her husband. Salonina is said to have had Christian sympathies.
