Exemplaire sur un flan légèrement ovale, parfaitement centré des deux côté avec les grènetis visibles. Beau portrait inhabituel. Frappe un peu faible au revers. Jolie patine gris métallique avec des reflets dorés

Salonine, the wife of Gallien, seems to receive the title of augusta in 253, when her husband is associated with power by Valerian I. She loses at least two of her children, young Valérien and Salonin. She is murdered at the same time as her husband. Salonina is said to have had Christian sympathies.
