Reverse description : dans une couronne formée d'une branche d'olivier et d'une branche de laurier.

Commentary

Cette pièce est importante à cause de sa date. Napoléon mourut le 5 mai 1821 sur l'île de Sainte-Hélène. Le droit rappelle que l'île était sous le contrôle de la Compagnie des Indes Orientales. Certains auteurs pensent que cette monnaie est apocryphe, frappée bien après 1821, dans la seconde moitié du XIXe siècle.
