Palatinate-Zweibrücken (German: Pfalz-Zweibrücken) is a former State of the Holy Roman Empire created by the fusion controlled by the Counts Palatine of the Rhine with a part of the county of Deux-Ponts in 1394 territories. This principality, whose boundaries have often varied, consisted of the City of Deux-Ponts and those of Annweiler, Berg-Zabern with their surroundings and bailiwicks Alsatian (bipontins but remained under French sovereignty after the political meetings) until 1789 (bailiwicks Bischwiller, seltzer, of Cleethorpes and the Petite-Pierre) and later it grew County of Sponheim and the largest part of Veldenz..
