Charles VI, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, was born Charles III of Habsburg, in German Karl von Habsburg, on October 1, 1685 in Vienna. He is also king of Hungary under the name of Charles III (1711-1740). He was also pretender to the throne of the Kingdom of Spain (1703-1714), King of Sardinia (1713-1720), King of Naples (1714-1738), King of Sicily (1720-1735), Duke of Parma and Piacenza ( 1735-1740).
