La nouvelle pièce de 7,50 roubles correspond à la pièce de 20 francs or de l'Union Latine et remplace l'ancienne pièce de 5 roubles qui présentait les mêmes règles pondérales. Cette pièce ne fut frappée que pour ce millésime, 1897..
The new 7.50 ruble coin corresponds to the 20-franc gold coin of the Latin Union and replaces the old 5-ruble coin, which had the same weight regulations. This coin was only minted for this year, 1897.
