C’est la seule année de frappe pour les crowns à l’effigie d’Edouard VII.
La Couronne (Crown) a été introduite en Angleterre par la réforme monétaire d’Henri VIII en 1526. Elle vaut 5 Shillings. La dénomination “Crown” sera abandonnée en 1950 au profit de la mention “5 Shillings”..
