Exemplaire sur un petit flan ovale, le grènetis visible avec un très beau portrait et un revers stylisé. Très jolie patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets mordorés

Reverse description : Archer assis à droite sur un trône, tenant un arc de la main droite ; au-dessous, un monogramme.

Osroes II seems to be a usurper who seized Iranian provinces at the end of the controversial reign of Vologèse IV (147-191). The typology of its coinage is quite close to that of the official monarch. It is possible that he kept power at the beginning of the reign of Vologesis V (191-208).
