Triens de qualité, frappé sur un flan un peu court, avec de très beaux reliefs. Patine de collection ancienne avec de petits défauts de surface, très localisés

Reverse description : Victoire stylisée, marchant à droite, sur une ligne d’exergue, tenant une couronne et une palme ; le monogramme de Gondebaud dans le champ, devant la victoire.

Commentary

Avec ce monogramme de Gondebaud, cette monnaie est précisément classée et datée. La légende du revers est particulièrement dégénérée et manque au Tomasini.
Ce monogramme GVB se retrouve en type principal sur des monnaies d’argent et de bronze, associé aux lettres LD pour l’atelier de Lyon.
