ELYMAIS KINGDOM - ORODES IV
(early 3rd century AD)
This small kingdom, located between Babylonia and Persis in the region of Susa. He managed to maintain his independence from his powerful Arsacid neighbors. Orodes IV seems to have been a prince. When the Parthians were eliminated by the Sassanids, Ardashir I made Elymaide a province of the new empire.
