Diamètre de la médaille sans la bélière : 38 mm
Créé le 21/12/1883 par le Roi Milan I° Obrenovitch. Cette décoration était décernée en temps de paix comme en temps de guerre pour services méritants aux personnels militaires de tous grades..

(1868-1889)

King of Serbia

Milan IV (22/08/1854-11/02/1901) succeeds his cousin Milan III (1839/42-1860/8). Defeated by the Turks, he proclaimed himself king of the Serbs (1882), a title which was recognized by the Congress of Berlin, despite his defeat against the Bulgarians. Forced to abdicate in 1889, he died in exile.
