Commentary


Croix à quatre branches émaillées de rouge et blanc, des épées en sautoir timbré du monogramme CC. Le revers a été modifié, présentant le médaillon 1914-1918, généralement utilisé pour les croix de guerre de la première guerre mondiale.
Dimensions de la croix sans bélière ni ruban : 42,5 mm
Ruban rouge bordé de bleu.
Four-pointed cross enamelled in red and white, swords in saltire stamped with the monogram CC. The reverse has been modified, presenting the medallion 1914-1918, generally used for the war crosses of the First World War. Dimensions of the cross without bail or ribbon: 42.5 mm Red ribbon edged in blue

ROMANIA - FERDINAND I

(11/10/1914-20/07/1927)

Ferdinand I was of German origin and the childless nephew of Charles I, of whom he became the heir in 1889. Ascended to the throne in 1914, he accepted Romania's entry into the war alongside the Allies. He was succeeded by his grandson, Michel.
