Lot composé de trois rouelles en potin dont une de 24mm et une rouelle en plomb. Ce type de rouelle en potin est un des mieux attestés comme celtique. Le métal est souvent très proche du potin utilisé pour les monnaies coulées. Ces rouelles furent surtout trouvées (en grand nombre) sur des sanctuaires, mais leur usage monétaire n’est pas à exclure.
A set of three potin wheels, one of which is 24mm, and one of which is made of lead. This type of potin wheel is one of the best attested as Celtic. The metal is often very similar to the potin used for cast coins. These wheels were mostly found (in large numbers) on sanctuaries, but their monetary use cannot be ruled out.

Over the past twenty years, roundabouts have become very fashionable objects among the "Celtisians" and we have seen first the objects appear, then the "scientific" reference works which made the amalgamation between pieces really "ancient and Celtic" and all the rest whose fluctuating chronology goes from the 1st century of our era to ....... our days. Specialized studies, comparisons of material, archaeological inventories remain to be carried out before being able to decide and separate what is ancient from what is not..
