RODEZ - COUNTY OF RODEZ - HENRY I
(1214-1227)
In 1088, the county of Rodez was joined to the county of Toulouse. In 1096, the count of Toulouse, Raimond de Saint-Gilles, sold it to Richard, viscount of Carlat, Rodez and Milhau. Richard only struck coins in Rodez from 1119. In 1319, the county of Rodez was united with the county of Armagnac, finally, under Louis XI, it was united with the crown.
