Poids très léger. Le B est pour 2. Il fallait 3600 pièces de ce type pour un solidus. Cette monnaie divisionnaire correspond au nummia du même type frappé à la fin du règne de Justinien Ier avec la tête de face.

REVOLT OF HERACLIUS

Heraclius was prefect of Africa since the reign of Maurice Tiberius. With his son, also named Heraclius, he rebelled against the tyranny of Phocas. Sedition broke out in the summer of 608 and rapidly Héracliides contrôlèrent Carthage and Alexandria as well as Cyprus. October 4, 610, Heraclius landed at Constantinople, overthrew Phocas and put him to death.
