Exemplaire sur un flan bien centré des deux côtés. Beau buste de Rome. Joli revers à l’usure importante. Patine verte superficielle

Commentary
Poids très léger. Le diamètre général de ce triens est de 27 millimètres contre 21 pour le diamètre du grènetis. Le portrait est complètement différent des autres types repérés.

The Roman monetary system was reorganized in the middle of the Second Punic War (221-201 BC) in 211 BC That year, Hannibal decided to march on Rome, then departed from it. and takes Capua, since famous for its Delights. In Sicily, Marcellus captures Syracuse. Archimedes is killed during the sack of the city, massacred by a rufian, while the Roman commander had expressly requested that he be spared, having suffered greatly from the defense machines of the city designed by the inventor. The two eponymous consuls of the year are Publius Sulpicius Galba Maximus and Cnæus Fulvius Centumalus Maximus.
