Exemplaire sur un flan ovale et bombé, bien centré des deux côtés, légèrement décentré au droit. Très beau buste de Mercure. Joli revers de style fin. Servi par une très belle patine verte

This period is mainly marked by the start of the Second Punic War in 218 AC after the capture of Sagunto and Carthage's refusal to deliver Hannibal to the Romans. The latter crossed the Pyrenees and the Alps with nearly fifty thousand men.
