Remi was one of the most powerful nations of Gaul and faithful allies of the Romans. The territory of the Remi extended on the current Champagne, along the Aisne. They had for neighbors Aduatuci the Treviri the Médiomatriques, Lingones, the Suessiones the Bellovaci and Nerviens.
